Welcome to Grace & Redemption Ministries.com!  My name is Joe Davis and the purpose of both this site and this ministry is two-fold:

>Share the story of God’s grace and forgiveness to those that do not have a relationship with Him.

>Share the story of God’s redemption within the life of believers who need a “new beginning” with Him.

Whether singing, speaking, or writing, the greatest passion of my life is to share the love of Christ both with those who do not already know Him, and with those who need healing and restoration within their lives, a place I once was.

Update 9/24/11

Sorry I’ve been away from updating for SO long!! It has been an incredibly busy summer between seminary, singing, work, and serving at a new church. For the last 4 months, I have been helping out in various roles at Brookhaven Baptist Church in Atlanta. They have such a sweet fellowship under the direction of Senior Pastor Don Presley and if you live in that area of Atlanta, I hope to see you there real soon as I am singing with their worship team each Sunday morning. I am also scheduled to preach there on Sunday morning 10/16 and 10/23 and look forward to seeing many of you there.

ALSO, I have been blessed with the unique opportunity to play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in First Baptist Snellville’s upcoming dinner theater production of

“A Christmas Carol”, November 9-13. To buy tickets and for more info, you can reach the church at 770-978-7000. I covet your prayers as I try to prepare for this incredibly challenging role, and more importantly, for the many who might attend that do not know Christ as their Savior.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will be blessed by the messages contained in my debut CD, “Grace & Redemption”. I pray that God will use the words I’ve sung to inspire and encourage you in your walk with Him .  Through both the CD and when sharing in person, I hope to accomplish the following:

1.Exalt The Savior

"And if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me" John 12:32 - Simply put, I believe that a God-honoring ministry will magnify and glorify the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Share Christ with others

"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" Luke 19:10 - Someone cared enough to share Christ with me, so how can I do anything less for others? Many just don’t know what they are missing out on in a relationship with Jesus, not only in eternity, but in this life as well.

3. Encourage the body

"But encourage one another daily, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness" Hebrews 3:13 - We are living in difficult times and our churches are under attack like never before. Believers need to be encouraged and to be reminded that HE is still on the throne. I also specifically want to reach out to those believers who may have fallen in their walk with God in the past. These vital members of the body of Christ need to know that God still has amazing plans for their lives and that is exactly what “Redemption” is all about!
